Locke exits the Armory.
Gameplay
The player can either skip this level or complete 3 missions involving the Covenant. The Infinity serves as a "hub" between missions. You can go to several places in the Infinity:
The Infinity's Bridge
The Armory- The 1st mission will be launched from there.
S- Deck
An ONI Office- The 2nd mission will be launched from there
ONI Hangar 7- The 3rd mission will be launched from there
You can meet certain characters while inside the Infinity, including:
Lasky
Roland
Palmer
Alpha Nine (As ODSTs)
Sergeant Major Marcus Stacker
Holly Tanaka
Olympia Vale
Serin Osman (Locke's mission handler) (Through a hologram)
Mission 1- Get onboard a Mantis and help clear an ENTIRE Covenant remnant on the planet Partition. Assassinate their leader and return to Infinity.
Mission 2- Orders straight from ONI section Zero: A Swords of Sangheilios member called Ghe 'Talot has become a potential threat (By ONI standards if you know what I mean). Eliminate him and everyone inside his keep. Make sure no one survives to report on that incident. We'll cover it up.
Mission 3- Go to the ONI facility Argent Moon, eliminate all hostiles, and secure the facility (Locke later learns about the disease in Argent Moon and blows it up along with 10 Covenant Carriers and 7 CAS battlecruisers).
Locke returns to ONI Hangar 7 and takes an ONI Prowler to hunt Chief.
There were 150 total candidates
75 were selected
33 were fully augmented
15 survived augmentation
27 perished before graduation
We know the names of many of the Orion-II candidates.
But so many are left nameless.
That changes today.

Backstory:
Spartan Ajax's story began on planet Madrigal, he was born in the year 2511 , he was raised in a normal life but he can't remember due to the Spartan program. He was 6 years old when brought into the Spartan 2 program, he was put with a team known as Fire team Nexus, an elite squad, it had 8 members at the start but one over with it had 4 Ajax,CJ, Ajex, And jackson.
At the ages of 14 the Spartan took his team to a covenant bace and wiped them out, along with 16 other nearby covenant outposts, they were labeled as ghosts to the covenant.
a few years would pass by many missions and battles completed, the Spartans now 23 years of age, Ajax was split up from his team reuniting with them but they were not standing, Ajax was labeled as the last Spartan from Nexus, and became line wolf and went MIA shortly after going to find a taking female that the unsc took his blood for, his daughter named Rose, last seen on a sangeili planet as a slave
He was marked MIA due to the fact he had been gone for a long period of time, and a piece of his armor was found, along with hai dog tags, knowing Spartans Never die, this was marked MIA, he meets another Spartan in his journey on a ring after he Crashlands, this Spartan would be a S-IV and they stayed in a small cave for 8 years, once S072 had enough he left the Spartan IV where he was and found the Sangeili planet killing all that where known to the Covenant
He took Rose back to a UNSC base and they were shocked to see him alive and took the little girl alive as well, running tests on her as Spartan 072 got ready for the next war against the Covenant
Stepping on the front lines once more this brave Spartan was reunited with an old member of his, Spartan CJ S046, they took out an entire Covenant Cruiser and brought back the Ship Master and killing him Infront of the fleet sending a warning
hey continued throughout the fight as the covenant attacked multiple planets still, as well as the UNSC and ONI Requested Ajax to Upgrade his armor he refused, main reason why is because it had the markings of the rest of his squad, he wasn't going to change that, not only for him but for the other SII's that have fallen on the front lines of the war
Months during the war he was met by a group of Spartan III's known as Expendables, knowing Spartan III's are expendable Spartans he questioned the name but didn't worry to much, the 2 teams executed a high ranging covenant target, once done they continued throughout there missions, later down the road Ajax was split up from the SIII's after hearing the events of The ship known as Infinite, Ajax and CJ where sent behind enemy lines to find out what happened but had no Intel in infinite, they had no idea that the covenant where not behind any of the disaster, they returned to UNSC fire bace FOXTROT
Gameplay
Objective: Find the liberator
Locke enters the forerunner cave and walks the same path the chief did. The jungle is now filled with xalanyn and banished corpses, dead animals and destroyed sentinels. However, 5 Xalanyn ultras, 3 endless females, 6 Skimmer ultras and 6 endless warriors. Instead of taking a ride in a gondola, Locke is teleported to the liberator's room by an unknown force. He sees a human cylix glowing blue at the far side of the room.
Objective: Free master chief
He interacts with a switch that opens the cylix.
Cutscene
Chief's cylix opens and he appears, but falls to the ground
Locke: "Chief?"
Chief: "Locke. Did you release me?"
Locke: "Is there anyone else is this room?"
The Weapon is talkin from Chief's helmet:
Weapon: "Hello Spartan Locke. I'm an exact copy of Cortana. Sorry, my name isn't chosen yet.."
Locke: "Chosen? By an AI?"
Weapon: "AIs from the CORTANA model can choose their names."
Chief: "We need to escape before the endless will return here. They're too strong for us. They have legions of troopers here. But I have a plan how to destroy this device: the liberator. We go the the spire nearby and plant a bomb below. the blast will destroy the spire and the liberator."
Locke: "Understood."
Gameplay
Objective: reach the spire
Now the player is playing as Chief.
Weapon: "I'll teleport you both near our destination."
A teleporter is opened to a hallway protected by an endless commander and a captain, with 2 rocket skimmers protecting them.
Endless Commander: "Reclaimers! Attack them, Skimmers!"
They soon fall to the Chief and Locke. They enter a massive forerunner jungle, with dead animals and Endless warriors, but this time it's dark and the player will have to use the flashlight to get to the door at the far side of the jungle.
Cutscene
Chief turns around to see offensive bias.
Offensive Bias: "Welcome Reclaimers, your help is very needed. The endless want to free the flood! We must not let them find the installation's flood cylix!"
Chief: "We need do destroy the spire do destroy the endless' liberator at any cost."
Bias: "Understood, reclaimer. I'll teleport to the spire's control center to shut it down. It will be easier to destroy it that way."
Gameplay
Objective: Plant the bomb
Chief and Locke enter a corridor with 3 Skimmers and an endless warrior, which leads to a massive room with a light bridge. The light bridge needs to be powered by a power seed below the bridge. At the second part of the bridge there's a door which leads to a small rooms with plants, and 3 Xalanyn females protect it. They're slain quickly by Locke.
Bias (COM): "Perish, you vermin! I'm shutting down the spire. Good luck reclaimers!"
The Spartans enter a massive room beneath the spire, defended by 2 rocket skimmers, 6 regular skimmers, 3 skimmer ultras, 2 endless females, 2 endless ultras, an endless commander, 5 endless captains and 7 endless warriors. After they're eliminated Chief plants the bomb.
Cutscene
Chief: "Bomb planted."
Locke: "Chief...? Damn! My armor, it's-"
Locke picks up his Battle rifle and fires at Chief
Chief: "What the hell are you doing soldier?!"
Locke: "Chief, someone manipulated my armor to kill you!"
Locke throws a grenade at Chief but he uses the thruster to evade the blast.
Gameplay
Objective: Defeat Locke
Locke: "Chief, I have an armor restraint module, steal it from me and lock my armor!"
Locke uses the spartan abilities from Halo 5 while trying to kill Chief. When his health bar reaches 0%, a cutscene will play:
Cutscene
Chief Punches Locke, Locke punches him with his sidekick pistol and shoots Chief 2 times but Chief punches Locke again, removing his shields, than stealing his armor restraint, planting it on Locke's chest. It activates and Locke's armor shuts down.
Bias: "Here is a vessel for you to drive of this spire, I can't teleport you away, movement!"
A warthog is teleported to the room. Locke's armor unlocks and he and Chief ride the warthog.
Gameplay
Objective: Escape!
The warthog escapes as a mix of Chief's and Locke's themes is playing. The Bomb activates. A large explosion is heard. The room begins to fall apart as a large door opens. The Warthog escapes through a large hallway, with dozens or skimmer ultras attacking the player.
The hallway begins to fall apart too. The hallway leads to a forerunner jungle, with 19 sentinels fighting 11 endless warriors.
Locke: "Door, 90 degrees!"
The hog enters another hallway, with 8 Rocket skimers and 5 endless commanders attacking the player. the end of the hallway has a man cannon and the hog jumps out of the spire when it reaches it. The screen goes black.
Cutscene
Chief and Locke wake up at the middle of a sand storm, but Echo 216 arrives. The Spartans enter its cockpit.
Pilot: "Chief, it's so damn good to see you! You brought another spartan here?"
Chief: "Spartan Locke."
Pilot: "The spire, the device you mentioned... all fell into space... There's something you need to see, Chief...
Chief looks as the dust fades, revealing...
THE ARK
Legendary ending:
Atriox is shown in a banished room.
Atriox: "Tartarus. The so-called Chieftain of the brutes. You were a pawn in the prophets' game, yet you could rise through the ranks in the Banished and become a legend. Such a wasted potential... But I've grown from your mistakes and burned them. Banished them. I'm free. We are free. The Banished are free."
A door opens, showing the councilmaster
Atriox: "Councilmaster."
Councilmaster: "Atriox. The endless have a goal. To merge all lifeforms into an eternal empire. No wars. No conflicts. Everyone combined together. Would you want to be killed by our forces, watching, as your order falls? Or do you want to join us to make the galaxy peaceful again?"
Atriox: "No."
A brute Chieftain shoots the council master in the head with pulse carbines, killing him.
Chieftain: "Atriox, our forces had located the Ark."
Atriox: "Contact the Shipmaster and Pavium and tell them, that we are returning!"
The screen fades to black.
Please, tell your thoughts on the series and if you would play it! It was really fun to make those posts!
Ok Im not going to post an feature length film script or essay on asking this question. How powerful is he? Like we see on chest plate of Hyperius combat harness that Locke's frontal part of his helmet is on it. He is a spartan-iv so does it have to do with different generation of Spartans? Because Chief is a spartan-ii and has never succumbed to any real threat he couldn't overcome. Or is it a training thing. Because spartan-iv's are notoriously not very serious and rather unprofessional. Whereas spartan-ii's have been known to be more professional and serious. OR is it because he is the main character and therefore can't die because of plot armor and because if he does all of Microsoft's and 343i's commercial and advertisement value goes in the shitter?

Disclaimer: This is a joke, this is not why ODSTs hate spartans
ODST 1: "Hey Chief, you want something?"
Chief: *Trades his plasma pistol for the ODST's rocket launcher*
ODST 1: "...I hate you."

Mine is the closest I could get to my lucky number of 333 while still keeping the lore intact and away from interfering with my own chosen story at the same time.
