Locke exits the Armory.
Gameplay
The player can either skip this level or complete 3 missions involving the Covenant. The Infinity serves as a "hub" between missions. You can go to several places in the Infinity:
The Infinity's Bridge
The Armory- The 1st mission will be launched from there.
S- Deck
An ONI Office- The 2nd mission will be launched from there
ONI Hangar 7- The 3rd mission will be launched from there
You can meet certain characters while inside the Infinity, including:
Lasky
Roland
Palmer
Alpha Nine (As ODSTs)
Sergeant Major Marcus Stacker
Holly Tanaka
Olympia Vale
Serin Osman (Locke's mission handler) (Through a hologram)
Mission 1- Get onboard a Mantis and help clear an ENTIRE Covenant remnant on the planet Partition. Assassinate their leader and return to Infinity.
Mission 2- Orders straight from ONI section Zero: A Swords of Sangheilios member called Ghe 'Talot has become a potential threat (By ONI standards if you know what I mean). Eliminate him and everyone inside his keep. Make sure no one survives to report on that incident. We'll cover it up.
Mission 3- Go to the ONI facility Argent Moon, eliminate all hostiles, and secure the facility (Locke later learns about the disease in Argent Moon and blows it up along with 10 Covenant Carriers and 7 CAS battlecruisers).
Locke returns to ONI Hangar 7 and takes an ONI Prowler to hunt Chief.
This update will come a month after the second update. It changes a few things in the campaign as well as adding Warzone to PC. It includes these features:
A Forge remake of Guardian which features the Rushdown hammer.
Warzone Assault, Turbo and Firefight.
A skippable Jul ‘Mdama boss fight during the mission Osiris. You can skip it from the menu. Fireteam Osiris will fight the Phantom’s crew while the player fights Jul ‘Mdama. He spawns with an Energy sword and a Pulse carbine but he can pick up weapons from the battlefield.
Bug fixes
Kill Jul ‘Mdama in Warzone or campaign to obtain the HAYABUSA armor.
Features added to the MCC:
Hunter, Centurion, Helljumper and Argus are added to Halo 4.
Breakout is added to Halo 4
Copperhead, Technician, Timmy and Shinobi are added to Halo 2: Anniversary. You can obtain them through the exchange.
Mark IV is added to classic Halo 2.
A Gold visor in Halo 4.
If I were to release Halo 5 on PC, I would make some changes to the multiplayer experience and add more features regarding the settings. However, I would release those features in small updates so people would keep playing the game.
Full campaign and multiplayer experiences (Forge and Custom games can be played through Halo 5: Forge)
Discover all mission intel logs to obtain the Mark VII armor
You can switch between playable characters in the campaign
Play 50 full Multiplayer matches to obtain the Mark VII helmet
Players can change their Weapon display offsets and FOV (from 76 to 120).
Complete the campaign on Heroic to obtain the Mirage Helmet
Complete the campaign on Legendary to obtain the Kabuto and Mirage armor.
Complete the campaign to obtain the Kabuto Helmet.
Classic skull: "Just like old times..."- Elites, Grunts, and Jackals have a more simple look, similar to their Halo 3 appearances. Forerunner architecture looks simpler. Phantoms, Warthogs, Ghosts, Wraiths, and Banshees look like their Halo 3 counterparts.

Now, from what I know of, Halo Infinite and Halo 5 are the some of the only games that have multiplayer without the Elites. Now I get Elites wouldn’t fit lore wise, but gameplay wise they would fit perfectly. And argument I hear is that 343 will have to make all types of armor pieces for elites, but in Infinite they already do that, the Elites could just be some glorified armor core. They made armor pieces for the Hazmats so why can’t they do it again for the Elites? Next season could be an Elite themed season with the battle pass containing different armor pieces. I mean- I just love Elites but I wish they were in Halo Infinite.
Objective: Reach the City
Chief enters the city, seeing civilians fleeing from 2 Promeathan Battlewagons. Chief kills them.
Chief gets a waypoint at the end of the street.
Civilian: "Thank god, a Spartan! There's a squad from the defense force that needs your help! Go to the left after the end of the street! Go help 'em, Chief!"
Chief kills 9 Crawlers, 7 Armiger Soldiers, and 3 Armiger snipers on the way to the Meridian Defense Force squad. They're Pinned down and are taking cover behind a car. 3 Watchers teleport 2 Knights each and 7 Crawlers. Chief saves the Squad.
Soldier #1: "Thanks Chief, we owe you one!"
Soldier #2: "There are some men stuck inside that skyscraper, Chief!"
Chief leaves the squad.
Objective: Rescue the Soldiers in the Skyscrapers
Chief enters the first floor of the skyscraper and he kills the 5 armiger soldiers stationed there. He enters an elevator and activates it. He arrives at the 37th floor, to see 19 Meridian Defense Force Soldiers fighting 3 Captains, 1 Armiger Soldier, 6 Knights, and a Promethean Commander.
After Chief kills them he goes to the roof, where an Armiger sniper is killing civilians from afar.
Objective: Neutralize the Guardian
Chief sees a crane very close to the building he's on. He stands on the crane and it pushes him forward on the way to the guardian. Chief lands on a building with Civilians pinned down by a Promethean Commander but he ignores them, determined to Destroy the guardian and leave the planet. He proceeds to the next tower, On Which a Promethean incinerates a civilian with a light rifle.
Cutscene
Chief is now Close to the guardian, but as he prepares to board it, the Guardian initiates a pulse, Shutting everything in the City down. Chief falls to the ground, seeing buildings explode and fall and Ships crash. The Skyscraper near Chief starts to collapse, falling on the Chief and killing everything in its way.

The camera shows Captain Lasky talking to a figure from the Office of Naval Intelligence.
Lasky: "In all my years of command, I’ve never seen a more determined soldier than Master Chief. You know his service record was unimpeachable. But he has gone AWOL in the last month. The official story is that Master Chief is dead. But we found out that he's still active thanks to ONI, which hijacked the security cameras in the city before they were shut down. There was a 73% chance that the Chief would survive. You are the unofficial story. You need to hunt him down... and bring him to us, Spartan Locke."
Locke: "Got it, sir."
Locke turns to the camera.
Level Ends
A few months ago, I did a post on how I would've written Halo 4's campaign, and because I can't wait to post my rewrite of Halo 5, I have to rewrite Spartan Ops, because the rewrite of Halo 5 follows the ending of Spartan ops. I initially wanted to do 2 seasons of SO, but the first one has a plot too similar to the story of Red vs. Blue, so that was scrapped. Anyway, this is my rewrite of Halo 4: Spartan Ops.
Episode 1
Master Chief and Alpha Nine (Buck's squad) go on a mission to kill an insurrectionist leader and his crew. Most of them are armed with Promethean Weaponry given to them by a Covenant remnant ruled by Brutes. Chief learns that the Brutes also get Railguns in exchange for the Promethean weapons. Chief and the ODSTs, despite their rivalry, kill the Brutes and the Insurrectionists but the Leader and his bodyguards acquired advanced suites of armor and Promethean Binary Rifles. After a long boss fight, The Rookie finally manages to kill the Leader. Buck and his men now respect the Chief after seeing him fight for them, and the Chief heads to the Infinity.
Episode 2
Chief has a new mission: Assist the Arbiter in taking back Sangheilios from Jul 'Mdama. The shield of Sangheilios is almost entirely blown up from previous conflicts. It leaves the planet vulnerable to an attack from the Covenant Separatists. Chief helps the Arbiter in destroying a new covenant vessel called Kraken. After destroying the Kraken's legs, Chief enters a forerunner facility where he fights Promethean forces and enters a forerunner armory.
Episode 3
Chief enters the Armory, grabs a few weapons and grenades, and proceeds. He returns to the surface only to find that a second Kraken has been deployed. Chief boards an enemy Banshee and flies through a canyon with a Banshee squadron escorting him. He then proceeds to kill the Kraken's escort: 2 Phantoms and 3 Banshee squadrons. After clearing the area, the Chief can either take out the Kraken's legs or board the Kraken, destroy the power core, and escape.
Episode 4
With the Krakens destroyed, The Arbiter and the Shadow of Intent proceed to bomb Jul's bases, While Chief goes to board Jul 'Mdama's Brigantine. On the way, He encounters Phantoms, Liches, and Banshees trying to prevent him from boarding the ship and buy their leader time. Chief kills them but the Brigantine's turrets destroy his Banshee it crashes on the ground. Jul 'Mdama escapes Sangheilios and his forces fall back.
Episode 5
Lasky contacts Chief, revealing that Jul 'Mdama is attacking the UNSC Infinity with all of his forces. Chief arrives on the Infinity and defends 2 hangars from Covenant boarding parties before assisting First Lieutenant Stacker in reactivating 4 M85 AA guns. He later assists Gypsy Company in escorting high-level assets to safety. The Spartans of Gypsy Company disrespect the Chief and praise the new generation of Spartans and their advanced technology until they all die in an explosion and Master Chief has to escort the assets himself. After doing so, Lasky tells Chief that Jul Kidnapped Dr. Halsey because she possessed the Janus key, which reveals every piece of forerunner technology in the galaxy. Chief takes a Banshee and follows the retreating covenant forces.
Episode 6
The Covenant Remnant reaches a forerunner world called Kamchatka where they can activate the Janus key and also access the planet's data network. Chief boards the Carrier only to find the 'Mdama and Halsey went to the planet's surface. Chief goes to the prison section of his ship and frees a Covenant Remnant leader called Sali 'Nyon and in exchange for the rescue, he helps Chief free other prisoners and sows chaos on the ship. Chief boards an enemy Lich and flies to Jul 'Mdama's location.
Episode 7
Meanwhile, Jul activates the Janus key. Halsey notices that there's a facility on the planet Meridian, where the forerunners used to revive completely dead Ancillas. Chief crashes his Lich on a Kraken, destroying it, but he escapes on time. He encounters dozens of Elites, Grunts, and Jackals protecting 'Mdama and eliminates them. He then activates a light bridge leading to 'Mdama's location. Chief discovers 'Mdama and his bodyguards and a boss battle begins. After a hard fight, Chief manages to kill 'Mdama and the guards but in his last moments, Jul throws a plasma grenade at the janus key, destroying it.
Halsey tells him that there's a place where he can perhaps revive Cortana. She reveals it's on the planet Meridian and it's heavily guarded. Chief replies that he can deal with it. Infinity contacts Master Chief, ordering him and Halsey to return to the ship. Chief disobeys the order and says that 'Mdama is dead and they can get Halsey back, but his real mission is just getting started.
