ヴァージの戦いは惑星ヴァージにおいてUNSCとコヴナント^[1]が2552年9月に交戦した一連の戦いの事を指す。^{[note 1]}

イプシロン･エリダニー星系のリーチが陥落した直後にSPARTAN ブラック隊がクイダッド･デ･アリアスの都市に到着した。この街はUNSCのコロニーである惑星ヴァージにあり、コヴナントが攻め込んでいた。彼らの任務はコヴナントが設置したビーコンの爆破と惑星トリビュートへのヘリウム-3の供給を阻止するよう命じられていた。だが、彼らは誤って現地のコヴナント軍囚人キャンプを解放してしまったが、作戦は成功した。^[1]

Epsilon Eridani System, where Tribute is situated, was not invaded by the Covenant until August 30th. After the Covenant fleet would move on to glass other planets in the system following the Battle of Reach, Team Black would still need some time to get to another star system.
