117 is a track included in the Halo 4: Original Soundtrack. It is played in the first part of the last campaign level, Midnight, when flying a F-41 Exoatmospheric Multirole Strike Fighter. At about the 3:45 mark, the song shifts to the after-credits song that plays. The part where the Master Chief's armor is removed is played at the very end of this song.
If listened to carefully, one can hear the crescendoing section from the original Halo theme, at roughly 6:10; the song itself seems to use the theme as its' baseline.
