The 9th Shock Trooper Battalion is a unit of the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers that participated in many events during the Human-Covenant war.[1] The unit was with the UNSC Spirit of Fire during the Harvest Campaign, Battle of Arcadia and Battle of Shield 0459.[1] Later the unit went into cryo sleep along with everyone else on the Spirit of Fire.[2] The unit woke up and soon participated in several fights against The Banished on Installation 00, such as Operation: SPEARBREAKER.[3]
