Arctic Beast.

The Arctic Beast is a mammalian creature that appeared in the concept art for Halo Wars.

It is furry and white with large horns curving around its head. It looks vaguely similar and comparable to the Wampa from The Empire Strikes Back and the Reek in Attack of the Clones in Star Wars. It was most likely meant to wander the map (Chasms, Tundra, etc.) and attack anything it found, such as Marines, Rebels, Covenant, and other Beasts.

Deleted Material

Arctic Beast is part of the Deleted Material cut from the Halo games.

While developing the Halo games, Bungie, 343 Industries and Ensemble Studios have had to cut some content, such as vehicles, gameplay, and story elements, from the final products. Much of this content has been confirmed by videos and commentary in special edition DVDs, interviews with developers, and released concept art.
