The Babd Catha Ice Shelf was an ice shelf located on the human colony of Reach at Eposz. An Office of Naval Intelligence facility known as "Sword Base" was located near Babd Catha and was the site of a battle between the United Nations Space Command and the Covenant Empire during the Fall of Reach.
