As many of you may have noticed, this wiki has been rebranded and renamed over the past few weeks. Today, I'd like to take the time to explain what's happening and why, for those of you that may not know, and to formally introduce Halo Alpha to the world. Apologies for how belated this is - I've been very busy (and ill) of late.
So, firstly, why have these changes been happening? The wiki at this URL was formerly Halo Nation. However, following a number of issues with its host in recent years, Halo Nation held a vote on whether to leave Wikia in early 2019, which passed with 14 votes in favour and 2 in opposition. As a result, Halo Nation has now left Wikia and merged with Halopedia.
With Halo Nation gone, this wiki has been christened Halo Alpha, and been given a visual overhaul! Sgt D Grif, Haloprov and myself are going to remain around here to help the wiki in its early stages, and TheRequiemEmpire has been granted temporary admin rights, which will become permanent pending a successful RfA when he becomes eligible in a few weeks' time.
The new theme features a Forerunner-esque theme, with a grey background and bright orange tones, and a logo inspired by that of the upcoming Halo Infinite. After a few weeks of experimentation, the theme is now nearing completion. However, we'd still love to hear any and all feedback you have regarding it!
Additionally, Halo Alpha now has its own Discord! You can join by following this link! Be mindful that the Chat Policy is in full effect there.
If you have any questions or feedback regarding Halo Alpha, feel free to post them below or contact any one of us about it!
