The Bullfrogs was a nickname given to a squad of Orbital Drop Shock Troopers of the 22nd Shock Troops Battalion specializing in the use of jetpacks. During the Fall of Reach, they were stationed at New Alexandria, and helped SPARTAN-B312 capture an executive landing pad for use in the evacuation.^[1]

Every member of the Bullfrogs is named after a Bungie employee: Aaron Lieberman, Rob Adams, Max Dyckhoff, and Pete Parsons.

Note

Although the Bullfrogs are ODST's, the squad members hold Army ranks. It is also possible that during the fall of Reach, the UNSC Army maintains ODST squads within their own branch, much like the Marines, given the fact that ODST recruits from all branches of service within the UNSCDF.
