The Bullfrogs was a nickname given to a squad of Orbital Drop Shock Troopers of the 22nd Shock Troops Battalion specializing in the use of jetpacks. During the Fall of Reach, they were stationed at New Alexandria, and helped SPARTAN-B312 capture an executive landing pad for use in the evacuation.

Trivia

• Every member of the Bullfrogs is named after a Bungie employee: Aaron Lieberman, Rob Adams, Max Dyckhoff, and Pete Parsons.

Note

Although the Bullfrogs are ODST's, one of the squad members holds the Army rank of Specialist. This is possibly an oversight on Bungie's part or perhaps in the year 2552, the UNSC Marine Corps has a "Specialist" rank. It is also possible that during the fall of Reach, Army specialists have fallen in with the Bullfrogs.
