Charybdis IX was a UNSC outer colony in the Charybdis system prior to the Human-Covenant war.[1] Its capital was Scyllion.[1]
History[]
As the war escalated, martial law was declared in 2533, ultimately leading to the insurrectionist Scyllion Warehouse District Riot two years later. The colony modified and sold Covenant weapons, which brought a joint ONI and UNSC Navy operation to the colony in 2535. Jacob Keyes' killed Jason Kincaide, an Insurrectionist leader, during the riots.[2]
The colony was glassed by the Covenant during the Battle of Charybdis IX.[1]
