Synopsis[]

In the year 2552, humans on the planet Madrigal have been fighting for independence from Earth, but a fatal encounter with the Alien Covenant complicates things. Master Chief John 117 and his super-soldier “Spartans” join the fight. After the battle, Master Chief heads to his home planet of Reach with a Madrigal survivor and a mysterious object he discovered on the planet. But a controversial order has John questioning his mission, and himself.[1]

Plot[]

Kwan Ha wandered around with her friends outside of the outpost when she heard a spaceship and gunfire. She told her friends to run, some got obliterated by a Plasma Rifle from an Elite. Upon running away, she fell off a cliff but as soon as she got up she shot a flare in the sky to alert the outpost about the incoming attack. Jin Ha father of Kwan Ha thought it was UNSC attacking but Kwan told him it wasn't them. During an all out warfare between Resistance and Covenant, the Spartans were dropped in. Everyone at the outpost from the Resistance died except for Kwan, but the Spartans left her at the outpost to seek the Covenant aircraft. The Spartans spotted both the cave and the aircraft and they choose to split up, 2 went to the ship and 2 inside the cave. Master Chief found a device that was supposedly being used to extract materials, but as soon as Chief touched it, it triggered memories that we're supposed to be disappeared and buried via the Spartan Program. Master Chief told the Spartans of the squadron to board the Covenant ship and fly it back to Reach for research, while Master Chief and Kwan Ha flew back the Pelican under autopilot from UNSC.

UNSC ordered Master Chief, Article 72, to terminate Kwan Ha but choose not to. UNSC tried to lower the oxygen levels of both the aircraft and Master Chief's suit so that they both can be unconscious upon arrival but Chief reverted the air supply of the aircraft. Upon arriving to Reach, the Spartans were activated to terminate Master Chief because he wasn't obeying to any direct orders. Catherine Halsey over ruled UNSC and told the Spartans to protect Master Chief from whoever gets in their way, including allies. The device Master Chief touched activated an EMP, it took out all power from the UNSC Headquarters. The device gave power to back to the aircraft and Master Chief flew away before the power restored at the Headquarters.
