Dark Times is an Achievement in Halo 3: ODST. It is obtained when the player kills 5 enemies while using the VISR mode on any mission. It is worth 5 Gamerpoints.[1] This achievement will unlock an ODST Hoodie for your Xbox Live avatar on Halo Waypoint.[2]

- It is represented by a green and black circle with a yellow crosshair with the number 5 in it.
- "Dark Times" comes from a quote by the character Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope (1977) where he says "Dark Times" in reference to the period of imperial oppression between Episode III and Episode IV.
