Darkness was a Halo 3 advertisement released on April 3, 2008. It runs for one minute and eighteen seconds (1:18). The advertisement introduces all three maps in the Halo 3 Legendary map pack--Ghost Town, Blackout and Avalanche[1]--while David Scully[citation needed] recites an excerpt of the poem Darkness.
