Delta Halo Suite is a suite of songs included in the Halo 2: Original Soundtrack. It includes Penance, Wage, Leonidas, and Dust and Bones.
Penance combines the Delta Halo melody with the beat of Heretic, Hero. It is played during the intro cutscene to Delta Halo, when John-117 and the ODSTs are dropped from In Amber Clad.
Wage is an Under Cover of Night remake, though it is on strings and more in the background when it plays. It is heard during the cutscene at the beginning of Regret. The drumroll from this part is played at the beginning of the level Cairo Station. The chants from The Maw/Remembrance are also heard in the latter part.
- Leonidas, the name of a section of music, is a reference to the famous king of Sparta, who led his troops at the Battle of Thermopylae.
- Part of this track, along with part of the High Charity Suite, was used in a slightly altered form for the Halo Legends theme.
- It is the longest song in all of the soundtracks from Halo: Combat Evolved to Halo 3.
