DESTINY AWAITS

The Destiny Awaits poster is an easter egg in Halo 3: ODST, which can be found in the level Mombasa Streets and during Firefight, on certain maps. The poster consists of an image of Earth with the Traveler hovering over it, the words "DESTINY AWAITS" written at the top and the Asklon logo at the bottom. It is a reference to Destiny, Bungie's next game after Halo: Reach, which was in an early stage of development at the time of Halo 3: ODST's release.

Trivia

In Halo: The Master Chief Collection's port of Halo 3: ODST, the poster was replaced with another similar one, but which has all references to Destiny removed. The words "DESTINY AWAITS" were replaced with "FOR HER", the Traveler was replaced with the Moon and the Asklon logo was replaced with Misriah Armory's logo.
- This was likely done for copyright reasons, as Bungie owns the rights to the Destiny franchise, not Microsoft.
