Corporal Turpin was an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper attached to the UNSC Spirit of Fire's 9th Shock Troopers Battalion. She was the resident drone operator of Boomerang Company's Sunray 1-1 squad, under the command of Major Vaughan.[1][2]
