Halo: Renegades is an upcoming Halo novel penned by Kelly Gay, author of the Halo: Fractures story Into the Fire and the novella Halo: Smoke and Shadow.[1] Like Smoke and Shadow, it will focus on Lucy "Rion" Forge.[2]

- The novel was first referenced during a 343 Social Stream in summer 2018, by Jeff "GrimBrotherOne" Easterling, who noted that he was particularly excited for it. Its title and author were later unveiled in a Halo Community Update shortly after.[1]
