Halo: Rise of Atriox Issue 5 is the fifth and final issue of the Halo comic series Halo: Rise of Atriox.[1]

Summary[]

As a raid carried out by the Jiralhanae and its clan leader Jovus raid a UNSC supply and maintenance station named Brenden Station, many UNSC forces fell to the ferocious Jiralhanae clan. After the raid, Jovus grabbed the base's CO (Commanding Officer), the survivors of the raid mistakenly thought Jovus as the legendary Atriox causing to him to have great detest. Because of this, Jovus thought to himself how would a Jiralhanae be so feared. With no hesitation, he started a course for the planet Karava which was under siege by Atriox. Once, Jovus entered The Banished's airspace, Let 'Volir detected and recognizes them asking if they wanted to join The Banished. Unfazed, he landed with his crew on the planet's surface. Upon, arriving they met Decimus praising about Atriox. Infuriated by this, Jovus speaks harshly about how foolish he can be to join Atriox's forces. At that moment, all Banished forces led by the trio: Decimus, Pavium, and Voridus opened fire at Jovus's forces. Surrounded by all sides, the battle stops as Jovus is brought to Atriox with his devoted, proclaimed legend-keeper Buca. As, Atriox proposed an offer in which Jovus's forces will be pardoned and valued in his forces. However:, Jovus refused and attack Atriox head on. To no surprise, Atriox grabs his gravity hammer and crushes Jovus. Dumbfounded, Buca asks Atriox why would Jovus reject Atriox and attack him even though he is outnumbered and outgunned. To, which Atriox replied that Jovus was a chieftain who would fight for being the alpha. The rest of Jovus' Jiralhanae then joined the Banished as proud and valued soldiers.
