Halo 4: Official Game Guide is the official guide to Halo 4. It features a detailed walkthrough of the campaign, a breakdown of different weapons and abilities, a multiplayer guide from MLG, a guide for the first episode of Spartan Ops, developer commentary from 343 Industries, and a brief summary of the Halo trilogy.

Trivia

In the Halo 3 section, the book says, "After a series of battles, the combined forces struck at the Forerunner artifact found buried beneath the city of New Mombasa, where the Prophet of Regret landed the Forerunner Dreadnought," and, "A combined UNSC-Elite task force, including the Master Chief and the Arbiter, left Earth through the portal to pursue the Prophet of Regret to the Ark." It was the actually the Prophet of Truth, not Regret, who did those things.
