Reason for Nomination

As of June 17th, 2011, Halo Nation is currently in a dark age. During these past months, multiple admins have been honorably discharged due to various reasons. Me and Forerunner are the only Administrators on this wiki that are currently active. To keep Halo Nation more stable and clean, we require an additional administrator - none other than Ultra Force. Not only is he a long-time veteran of Halopedia and Halo Nation, but he's a good guy in general.

1. Oppose I'm sorry to say that I vote against this, he has many edits one blog pages, but no edits on mainspace for a long time (proven by the lack of medals). His last edit on main space was 11 October 2010... In my opinion someone who has editted a lot on mainspace learns a lot more of editing tricks and proper grammar than on blogs and such. • I must argue that the point on grammar and editing tricks does not particularly have much relevance here, given that the user in question does not have any blogs, and is shown to be very proficient in his editing abilities by his last edits. • I disagree, he has a lot of edits in user talks and blog posts. Those pages aren't that strict on proper grammar as mainspace pages, so from what I am seeing is a user who hasn't used the proper grammar and wording in over 6 months. This is why I vote againts. • As shown here, all his blog edits are within a space of three days - October 13, 14, and 15. Everything before that is perfectly good mainspace edits. I feel it is unfair to condemn him as a candidate just for this, especially in light of his previous contributions. SPARTAN-118 ^{(Talk) (Contributions)} 18:17, June 18, 2011 (UTC)

• But still, those are 6 months old edits. He hasn't been active from 15 october untill today (except for 1 edit on 26th may). That's another requirement for an admin, to be active in the periode before the RfA... Let's just wait for other voters, I am against his Adminship. • Badges mean nothing, actually. Badges were instituted with the "new" Halo Nation - however, his edit count gives him a total of 2,191 edits at this point in time. SPARTAN-118 ^{(Talk) (Contributions)} 06:32, June 18, 2011 (UTC)

1. When did you join Halo Nation (or the previous "Halopedia")? —

December 14th, 2009.

2. What do you believe are your most valued contributions to Halopedia? —

Anti-vandalism and article cleanup.

3. What do you believe are your most valued technical contributions to Halopedia? —

Unfortunately, I'm not a great contributor when it comes to technical contributions.

4. What do you believe are your most valued contributions to the community? —

I have helped several users from time to time with coding and editing.

5. If you are administrated, what changes do you propose? —

If I'm administrated, I would help keep Halo Nation nice and tidy by deleting "useless" uploaded images, getting rid of users that may damage the Wiki, and doing my best to improve the community.

6. To the best of your understanding, what does administratorship entail? —

I believe that administratorship does not make a user superior to another. They're simply users that are trusted with a few extra buttons.

7. To the best of your understanding, when will you be able to check Halopedia after you are administrated, in the event that you are? —

Almost everyday.

8. What communities are you associated with online, Halo and otherwise? —

Just Halo.

9. What is your familiarity with the Halo universe? —

I have played every Halo game, read every Halo book, and watched Halo Legends.

10. What is your familiarity with Wikia and Halopedia policies? —

I'm familiar with them and will continue to go over them every now and then.

11. What is your relationship with the Halopedia community and current administration? —

I have a good relationship with the community and most of the administrators.
