Halo Nation Chat Moderators are elected by the people to govern the people on the Chat. Hence, on this talk page, if one feels that another user is worthy of the power of impartially and seriously governing the Chat in the absence of other figures of authority, one may consider nominating another for the role of Chat Moderator, in a style demonstrated below. Also, if a user feels that a user is acting in a manner demanding his removal from the Chat Moderation team, consider placing the user up to be 'sacked' using the same style:

To gain Chat Moderation privileges on Halo Nation, you must have a minimum of 10 votes in support of your nomination and of a ratio of 2:1 votes for to every against. Voters must have a minimum of 50 mainspace/article edits and be in good standing with the community.

• Nominator: Vidmas7er
• Reason for nomination: I've been on the chat for a while now and I think I'm ready to become a moderator. I've solved conflicts on the chat before and I try not to be mean to other users. I would like to help to keep the chat under control and help enforce the rules. On a side note, I'm on the chat everyday.

1. Oppose — While I have no behavioral concerns for Vidmaster, he hasn't shown any particular enthusiasm or hint of wanting to take a step towards further responsibility on Chat. Though I'd support him if he can display a respectable manner in the future, he's not ready yet. As well, we have enough Moderators at the moment, especially those in North America. Grizzlei ♥ ツ

1. Oppose — User has displayed sporadic levels of ignorance towards suggestions and directives by the moderating staff. As eccentric as he may be, Celestia has quite a road ahead of him before he could be properly considered. The Grave Mind (Ongoing)

• Nominator: The Grave Mind
• Reason for nomination: I believe i could qualify for this position, I am very mature, including with-in the chat, as well I am in the chat frequently. I am a diehard Halo fan and I always wish to please others, whether it is that they have questions or concerns/ ideas on halo. Furthermore I keep an open mind and will stay neutral in a conflict and will make an unbiased decision to resolve the conflict.

1. Oppose - While i understand his promises, he doesn't show any of this in the chat. Examples of which are: Roleplaying, thus disrupting the flow of the chat, however random it may be, Being generally negative when it comes to including him. He is in no way neutral in arguments and there were multiple cases where he flamed My Little Pony or any other interests of user, if only in minor ways. There you have my wall of text. 1. Oppose - I have been a proper Moderator for all of my moderator life. People on chat have sexually HARASSED me, and I banned them for that. Vinyl was banned for a minute for molesting me. Besides, HR, you aren't a proper Mod. Like Sniper. Gravemind was banned for trolling, and I banned every troll that came. I come on every day and you don't. No one else but Ultra and Sniper do. What I am trying to say is that my Mod life has been hard and I have been working as hard as I can. People disobey rules all the time and I am there to enforce rules. If someone would disobey a rule and it was not serious, you would not do anything, would you? I would, I promise that I enforce rules all day every day and I even stay in touch at school. I check my message wall at school. Stay on updates. Anyway, I have been grateful and I have monitored with both my eyes.
