Halo Reborn is a song that plays at the beginning of the level Halo in Halo 3. It is part of the Halo 3: Original Soundtrack, and includes the songs Halo Reborn and Guilt and Punishment. It was remade from Under Cover of Night from the Halo: Original Soundtrack and is 3 minutes and 59.777 seconds long (3:59.777). The song's title is a clear reference to the new and untouched Halo ring Installation 04 (II).
Halo Reborn begins with mournful vocals accompanied by some minor electronic sounds. At approximately 1:51, the sounds become more perceptible and at 2:09, a new volley of sounds are generated (In gameplay, this is when the Combat Forms arrive on Installation 04 (II) in Flood Dispersal Pods. This continues until 2:46, when the sounds die. Finally, at 3:34, a part of the Halo Original Soundtrack song, Shadows is played. The song ends on a jarring violin chord.
