Icons of War is a downloadable content bundle for Halo Wars 2 that was released on June 21, 2017. It contained the Commander Jerome Leader Pack and The Arbiter Leader Pack, which add the leaders Jerome-092 and Arbiter Ripa 'Moramee, repectively.[1]
Overview[]
The next salvo of Halo Wars 2 content has arrived in the form of the Icons of War downloadable content pack, bringing with it 2 iconic Halo Wars characters to lead their armies to victory, or death.
Commander Jerome[]
Leader of Red Team and veteran Spartan on board the Spirit of Fire, Jerome-092 has been issued the fitting and professional rank of Commander. While a formality, Isabel insisted on the rank to better align the ship’s ad-hoc command structure with UNSC regulations. He doesn’t take the role facetiously, though: inspiring those under his jurisdiction from his Command Mantis to grant extra health, damage, damage output, speed and armor with leader powers like Spartan Morale coupled with field support from his Victory Turret and Victory Mine. He hits hard too, with Enduring Salvo literally dropping the wreckage of the Enduring Conviction on his enemies’ heads while his fellow Spartans in Omega Team mop up what’s left of the resistance.
The Arbiter[]
Second up is the Arbiter returning from Halo Wars 1 with an insatiable bloodlust and fearsome reputation known by all, including Atriox and his Banished, he may be dead, but Halo Wars 2 shows what would happen if Ripa’Moramee decided to lead Atriox’s armies. He takes the role on with vigour, entrapping enemy forces in Stasis while his forces ambush them from Mass Cloaking and relentlessly attack them under Conduit of Rage as Elite Spirit Assault drops off reinforcements and Plasma Bolt pounds the enemy’s forces with constant artillery fire.
