The Type-32 Rapid Attack Vehicle is one of the vehicles produced by Lodam Armory.

The Lodam Armory is a Covenant weapons manufacturer located in the Sangheli State of Lodam. They are the Covenant parallel to the Sacred Promissory.[1]

Directed Energy Rifles

The Lodam Armory first started by producing Type-25 Directed Energy Rifles (Plasma Rifles) which fired Superheated Plasma up to 50 metres. The plasma rifles were shortly modified and remarket for Jiralhanae use as Brute Plasma Rifles. After the Plasma Rifle ended up succesful the Lodam Armory made a follow up known as the Type-51 Directed Energy Rifle/Improved (Plasma Repeater) which had a shorter range than the Plasma Rifle but a faster rate of fire. Following up the Plasma Repeater they created their third and final directed energy rifle, the Type-55 Directed Energy Rifle/Advanced (Storm Rifle) which had both the faster firing of the Plasma Repeater and the longer range of the Plasma Rifle. While the ofther two rifles have been seen as early as the Battle of Reach, the Storm Rifle was not seen in combat till after the Human-Covenant War during the events of Halo 4.[2][3]

Other Products

Upon the destruction of the Sacred Promissory, a Jiralhanae weapons factory, the Lodam Armory began to produce Type-33 Guided Munitions Launchers (Needlers) which fired guided crystalline explosive projectiles up to 64 meters. While previous models of the Needler have been know to have up to 30 needles per clip, the Lodam version only has 18. Another product that the Lodam Armory produces is the Type-32 Rapid Assault Vehicle (Ghost) which is a single-man vehicle that is used for Infantry Support and Reconnaissance. The Ghost is known to be produced by both the Lodam Armory and the Iruiru Armory.[4]
