XBL Edit

I got XBL, added you to my friends list, and I'm downloading the map pack. What time are you usually on? Give a time range AND a time zone, please. I mean, what use is it if you tell me what time you're on in whatever timezond Iraq uses? ;D Guesty-Persony-Thingy 01:18, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

I'm in Eastern Standard Time, 16 GMT I think they call it.
Yeah, hope to see you soon! <and pwn you...=D, actually do 2v2s in Double Team...=D>
Over and out, sir.
49 Proximal Secant[oracle]H3 Monitor 01:39, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
So... you gave me a time zone... but not what time in that time zone... Like this: Until next tuesday, I will be on and off between 3 PM and 3 AM, Eastern Time, which is, BTW, GMT - 5. Central Time is GMT - 6, Mountain is GMT - 7, Pacific is GMT -8. I'm downloading maps right now, I'll be on in a while. Guesty-Persony-Thingy 01:53, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

Hey can you go now now?--ryanngreenday 20:12, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

RE:RE:Cmdr. Rebuga & Status List @ RPEdit

They aren't meant to stop the directed energy, but to destroy the weapon itself. I figured several MAC rounds per MAC gun (the Erwin Rommel has two as per UNSC destroyer policy), all remaining Archer missiles, and the Shiva would at the very least disable the direct energy weapon for long enough for the UNSC to find a hole in its range or a way to avoid/disrupt it.

As for the status list, it is more or less that I lack a life, so to speak. I spend a lot of time on my computer. It was hell without it...I think I spent four or five hours at the Arby's where my friend works for three days waiting for his dad to finish up. Its break and I really have nothing better to do. Sad, sure, but I've never truly cared. --Rot 01:57, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

Corrections to Entry in RPEdit

Just a heads up, I made some corrections (like removing the ' at the beginning of some first names (Krisha and Kontale), adding an ee to the end of some last names, italicizing ship names, converting human units to Covenant (hours=cycles, minutes=units, and I usually chnaged seconds to a fraction of a unit or moments), and I removed the vulgar language, mainly because those are purely human words, and I doubt an Elite would resort to such language. At one point I added "what in the ancient's name", as it seemed a more fitting curse for an Elite to shout.--Rot 03:20, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

advanced coding Edit

1. there's a way to lock your userpage, but only an admin can do that. however, if you have a sign-in area on your userpage, you lock others from signing it.

2. you can let a pic link to a page instead of an enlarged version of itself. I can do that for you. which one?

See if you can make a page of the typs of sentlals.--Admiral Sozai Nexes FLEETCOMM 20:45, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

We really only know of three types. Sentinels, Sentinel Majors, and Onyx Sentinels. Enforcers are of a different class, as are Constructors and Monitors.--Rot 20:48, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

You'll have to describe the purpose it would be used for. If you mean to put it on all of the rank pages, I'd advise against it because those are all skeleton articles as it is, and the commotion with the ranks not previously mentioned in Halo would be annoying. I'm starting enough havoc putting a pic in Lieutenant (but I've got proof to back it up).--Rot 20:47, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

Re: XBL Edit

you're level 8 already???

49 Proximal Secant[oracle]H3 Monitor 16:10, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

Is that... a bit much? Yeah, I wasn't really expecting it to go up that quickly, but when you sit there for... uhm... about nine hours playing team slayer, that happens, I guess. I was a level nine, but I had a bunch of games with bad teammates in a row (about four or five games of 50 to30, 35, stuff like that), so it went down to eight again. :D Hope to see you soon on XBL; I should be on in a little over half an hour; Team Slayer fine with you? If so, I'll invite you to my party, if you're on, if not, just invite me to yours. See you then! Guesty-Persony-Thingy 21:01, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

Oh, you didn't like my saying "cheers?" You should've said something! I just thought it was fitting, since I was talking to you! Anyway, if you're not Texan, what's with the accent? Or maybe I'm just so un-Texan everything else sounds that way... Anyway, you asked to be staff for the clan, but, didn't you just finally join today? Guesty-Persony-Thingy 04:24, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

Covenant FlagshipEdit

Hello, Esemono. I know you're not big for "standard" Wikia regulations, but I'd like to tell you this:

1. Ships of a classification not specifically stated are given a placeholder classification.
2. Furthermore, it is not confirmed that "flagship" isn't a Covenant ship classification. Even though it isn't by our current-day tongue, we are dealing with a future civilization 500 years in the future. Definitions change.

Thank you. Please get back to me ASAP. Cheers, 49 Proximal Secant[oracle]H3 Monitor 19:51, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

RE. RE. Fire Team Edit

I think they are different. On Brothers in arms 2 U can control a combat team, AND a Fire team. So i guess they'r different. -- User:Forerunner 16:00 (UTC)

Update: Combat Teams are in Brigades and Regimental.

Howether Fireteams R different. read below.

A fireteam is a small military unit of infantry. It is the smallest unit in the militaries that use it and is the primary unit upon which infantry organization is based in the United States Army, United States Marine Corps, Canadian Forces, Australian Army and British Army. Fireteams generally consist of four or fewer soldiers and are grouped into squads or sections.

variations United States Army The United States Army particularly emphasizes the fireteam concept, as do most special operations units. A United States Army Rangers fireteam consists of 4 soldiers equipped with a personal weapon and special equipment based on position:

  • Team Leader — first in command, provides tactical leadership
  • Grenadier (M203) — operates the grenade launcher
  • Automatic Rifleman (M249 SAW) — provides suppressive fire for the fireteam
  • Rifleman — carries communications equipment and covers the rear

United States Marine Corps The United States Marine Corps summarizes its fireteam organization with the mnemonic "ready-team-fire-assist", the following being the arrangement of the fireteam when in a column:

  • Rifleman — acts as a scout for the fireteam
  • Team Leader (M203) — also works as the grenadier
  • Automatic Rifleman (M249 SAW) — also serves as second in command for the fireteam
  • Assistant Automatic Rifleman — carries extra ammunition

The United States Marine Corps fireteam is organized around the M249 Squad Automatic Weapon. When on the objective, the fireteam assumes a "hasty 180", where the Automatic Rifleman covers 11 o'clock to 1 o'clock (12 o'clock being the most likely avenue of enemy approach), with the Rifleman and Assistant Automatic Rifleman covering 9 to 11 and 1 to 3 respectively. The Team Leader is next to the Automatic Rifleman to complement his fire with grenade rounds and to assign targets for the M249. Also known as RTFA (Ready-Team-Fire-Assist)

British Army The British Army also uses the fireteam. An infantry section of eight men usually contains two fireteams (Charlie and Delta), each comprising an NCO (Corporal or Lance-Corporal) and three Privates, one of whom carries a Light Support Weapon.

Other nations In the Canadian Army "fireteam" refers to two soldiers, with two fire teams forming a group and two groups forming a section of 8 soldiers. Many other armed forces see the squad as the smallest military unit; some countries' armies have a "pair" consisting of two soldiers as the smallest military unit.

Lol! I am in the process of writing a story that would introduce the Covie reinforcements. I am almost ready to post it. I'll go see what you put.--Rot 17:39, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

Hmm...31 ships...a tad much...but you left me enough room to keep my story almost the way it was. That's good. I'll make some changes to the Status then.--Rot 17:42, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

Move Relentless Award Edit

Hi. I have got two computers and cannot use the autologin on both of them... When I worked on the weapons (on the 23rd december, I think) I forgot to login (stupid, I know). I had no idea about the awards. Well, my request is that you took the award from my lousy user IP page and put it right where it should be, on my user page. I will prove that the UIP is me by sending a message from it. And beleive me, I'm the only user on this IP. It's my family computer, and the other family members all hate Halo. Well, not hate, they're more neutral to the subject. I hope you can help me. Cya. Troubleshooter 18:18, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

Move Relentless Award (Proof) Edit

RE:just a remindEdit

I just changed it. I guess I missed that and the ship types when I viewed your story. UNSC AI pointed it out to me just earlier.--Rot 18:46, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

Also, don't forget that Elite last names end with an ee. I added and e to the Supreme Commander's name.--Rot 18:51, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

ONI Destroyer Edit

IN the RP it says that there are 3 destroyers with the ONI forces, are they stealthed or just hiding? Due to recent events if they are not stealthed than they will be destroyed if they do not move, I would just like to know since (apparently) I am "controling" the ONI forces. If nothing else, should I take another role as the Commander of the UNSC Stealth Cruiser Call of the Wild? These are just my personal thoughts. --Omrifere 20:43, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

username Edit

is there a way to change my username to SPARTAN-458 Nikki (Nicole) instead of SPARTAN-058 Nikki (Nicole)? —This unsigned comment is made by SPARTAN-058 Nikki (Nicole) (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
