Locking the Yapyap page because you don't want to believe something is a terrible use of your powers.
If you bother to look at all the evidence, it all points to the crown being the one worn by the Prophet of Truth:
Unggoy Deacons do not wear crowns, proven by their appearances in Halo Wars and them never being described to.
The crown Yapyap wears is identicle to the one worn by the Prophet of Truth.
According to this wikia's very own page on the Prophets/San'Shyuum, each head-piece is uniquely shaped.
So according to this wikia, the crown is the exact same, and must be mentioned on the page if it's to be an informative wiki.
The headpieces aren't identical at all. Truth's headpiece has a glowing Halo ring on the front, and Yapyap's headpiece has a rock-like, flower-looking object. Truth's headpiece also has multiple "spikes" around it while Yapyap's only has three (one in front and two on sides). Compare this image and this image with this image. Very obviously different.
I believe that statement on the San'Shyuum article is an observation of known headpieces, not a statement of fact. I do not believe there is an official source that states definitively that all Covenant headpieces in the entire Halo universe are totally unique. It could very well be that two different headpieces look the same (although, as I stated before, Truth's and Yapyap's do not).
Even if we accept that entire sentence as being true, it also states that all San'Shyuum headpieces have holographic Halo rings. Since Yapyap's does not, it cannot be a San'Shyuum headpiece, letalone Truth's.
Unless you have an official source somewhere that specifically states that Yapyap's headpiece was previously worn by Truth, the information cannot go on the wiki. "They look the same" is not enough to substantiate that claim.
Hi, you've probably noticed that on your wall and profile, it shows on your masterhead as "rollback" rather than admin. This is because someone needs to remove you from the following:
http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/MediaWiki:Wikia.js/mastHeaders.js
The custom .js for rollback is getting in the way of your admin status showing. Removing you completely from this js and publishing to Wikia for review will solve this problem - I've also informed Dab.
Hi, if you've noticed I've made a simple mistake like not putting a full stop after the letter I and you can see I'm active, please leave me a message and allow me to fix it rather than just undoing all the work I've done.
Hey, I'm messaging you to question why you keep reverting the edits done on the Fist of Rukt page. Now I have spoken to Dab and we both agreed to remove "*The Fist of Rukt's cultural history with the Brutes is similar to that of the Norse hammer Mjolnir, which was wiedled by Thor." and "It may have even been capable of emitting electromagnetic fields, stunning enemies, and possibly providing energy shielding, as Tartarus isn't seen with an energy shield projector or any kind of armor that could supply a shield"
Due both being conjectures and having no overall relevance to the page.
Most of what I did was reorganizing the page. I integrated the Overview section into the introduction (because the introduction should be an overview) and I fixed the location of an image that was placed in the middle of a paragraph.
There were other parts of the page that were unsourced and appeared to be speculation, so I removed those as well.
Hey mate, apologies for the disturbance. But why did you remove my edit on the Club Errera page? There was nothing incorrect in the trivia, and it is directly related to the Club.
Although true, a reference in external media does not constitute direct relation to the Halo franchise or universe. A better place for that information might be the Red vs. Blue wiki or List of outside references to Halo.
Kennyannydenny and I were just discussing the year pages (2014, 2015, etc) and he came across this edit that you made, removing two trailers from the page. Both Kennyannydenny thought that trailers deserved to be on the pages, so I was wondering why you removed them?
Just like I stated in the edit summary: I didn't think it was noteworthy. As a reader reading through a year article, I wouldn't be particularly interested in seeing every trailer for every release. Just seemed like unnecessary clutter, that's all. No worries if you want to add it back.
Yeah, I think it's a good idea to add them back. Seems like information that should be there, IMO. I understand it could appear cluttered, but I'd rather our pages be in-depth and cluttered than have missing info. That said, stuff like the Bulletin and individual announcements I agree are unnecessary.
