For the rocket Warthog in Halo: Combat Evolved, see M12A1 Light Anti-Armor Vehicle.
For the similar vehicle in Halo: Reach and Halo 4, see M12R Light Anti-Aircraft Vehicle.

The Missile Warthog is a variant of the M12 Force Application Vehicle.[2]

Description[edit | edit source]

The Missile Warthog is essentially identical to other versions of the M12 LRV. The vehicle's distinctive feature is the replacement of the standard M41 Light Anti-Aircraft Gun rear turret with two racks of Argent V Missile launchers for surface-to-air capabilities. After six shots the turret must reload.[2]

History[edit | edit source]

One such vehicle was owned by Chief Petty Officer Franklin Mendez on Reach. As far as is known, the vehicle was not used during the Fall of Reach, given that Mendez was not actually present for the battle.[3] It is unknown whether he took his Missile Warthog with him to Onyx to train the SPARTAN-III trainees.
