Niko is an Alerian salvager working on the Ace of Spades.

Biography

Niko grew up on Aleria with his sister Lessa in the years after the Covenant had cut it off from the rest of human space. Niko's father was killed during his childhood. He and Lessa were raised by their grandfather until his death from Boren's Syndrome. To keep fed, Lessa would flirt with passersby and hack into their electronics while they were distracted.

In 2555, Lessa and Niko attempted to hustle Rion Forge, who caught them in the act and offered them a job aboard her ship the Ace of Spades.
