Opening Suite

The Opening Suite is the first song in the Halo: Original Soundtrack.

Appearances[]

It can be heard during the Bungie logo sequence, the menu of Halo: Combat Evolved and during the beginning cutscene of The Pillar of Autumn. It could also be heard on Two Betrayals while John-117 is flying a Banshee to the second generator, and on The Maw if the timer runs out. A part of this soundtrack can be heard in several cutscenes, including the light bridge cutscene in the level Halo.

This song is, oftentimes, considered the Halo Theme Song. The song Prologue is the Halo 2 remix of the song. It is partly featured in Covenant Dance. This is also another religious reference to the Forerunners.
