An Outpost is a Covenant non-primary base facility in Halo Wars. It includes a Command Center and three building sites, but no turret foundations. It can be upgraded to a Keep, then to a Covenant citadel. It is the starting facility when a new base has been claimed in a standard Skirmish or in multiplayer mode. It costs 500 resources to build on an empty base slot and features three building spaces.
