Raj Singh was a UNSC Marine Technical Officer aboard the UNSC Red Horse's crew during their mission to the Soell System as part of a secret ONI mission.[1]
Biography
Singh was part of Sgt. Lopez's squad when they boarded the Mona Lisa. After a battle in the Hanger the marines split up.
After discovering John Smith and enduring his betrayal, Singh, McCraw and Lopez continued on, from there they encountered their first flood combat form, a large four legged mutation, Singh was instructed to take out the legs as the three worked to kill it. In the process he was trampled whilst reloading.
Trivia
- Given his surname being "Singh", it would appear that Raj is of Sikh decent.
- There is a mistake in the comic adaptation version of the novel about the weapon Singh is using. Upon entering the Mona Lisa along with the Marines under Lopez' command, he was seen wielding an M90 CAWS Shotgun; however, in the scene where he, MacCraw and Lopez is fighting a Sangheili Combat Form, he is seen with an MA5B ICWS Assault Rifle.
- If that would be so, he should've swapped his shotgun to a marine wielding an assault rifle.
