UNSC Infinity is floating through space. Three Pelicans are flying down its length.
- Lasky: There have been five more events following Meridian. That's eleven colonies. I need a means to stop this. Now.
Scene shifts to the inside of Infinity's bridge. Lasky and Locke walk towards a terminal that Dr. Halsey is studying.
- Locke: The Warden confirmed Dr. Halsey's theory: Cortana is activating the Guardians.
- Dr. Halsey: But not this one. Not yet. Sunaion. A pre-Covenant religious site on Sanghelios.
- Lasky: There's a Guardian on the Elite homeworld?
- Palmer: If we get a team on the ground, we can access that Guardian.
- Lasky: Sanghelios is off limits. The brass want nothing to do with the Arbiter's war.
