Safe Havens is a Halo: Reach Infection game type variant.[1]

Description

This Infection variant combines King of the Hill with the zombie-killing game mode. There is a hill marker, or 'safe haven' that the humans must get to in order to survive. The undead players have stronger shields, so it takes awhile to kill them. Should a 'living' player step inside the hill marker, they will become invincible to the zombie's strikes, and can kill the undead with one shot from a shotgun. After fifteen seconds, the haven will be moved, making the humans vulnerable to zombie attacks once more.

Tips

  • An important thing to keep in mind is not to just stand and shoot at the zombies if they attack you while you're in the safe haven. The Energy Sword strikes still push you back; thus, if you are not moving, the undead could shove you out of your safe zone and strike you down.
