Skulls in Halo 2: Anniversary are gameplay modifiers, presumably hidden around the campaign as with in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2 and Halo 3. Four skulls are available as pre-order bonuses for buying Halo: The Master Chief Collection from select retailers. All of the skulls from Halo 2 will be retained, and there will be over 30 in total.

Effect: Enemies drop plasma grenades when melee attacked.

Effect: Infinite ammunition and grenades, but the player will still have to reload.
