The Soldier Operative is a special type of Promethean Soldier.

Gameplay

The Soldier Operative appears in Skirmish at Darkstar where he wields a Z-520 Splinter Turret, and spawns at the 2 minute mark. Killing him is worth 25 points. He can spawn either at the Mining Site or the Ice Cave. The Soldier Operative also appears in certain Warzone Firefight simulations as a Legendary boss, this time piloting a Tundra H/Y Mk IX ADS Mantis.
