Soojin Ha was a member of the insurrectionists on the planet Madrigal.

Following the attack on Madrigal, Soojin went into submission alongside the other insurrectionists. Vinsher offered them protection from the Covenant in exchange for their surrender, and they accepted. During her brother Jin's memorial, his daughter and Soojin's niece, Kwan, returned. The women embraced and Kwan was eager to reignite the revolution against the UNSC to gain independence. Soojin advised her against that and instructed her to hide when Vinsher's men attacked the memorial. They spoke the next day, with Soojin admitting that her family is broke. Jin only began the fight because a group of mystics warned that he needed to protect Madrigal at all costs. Soojin didn't tell Kwan why Madrigal is important, or where the desert mystic are, as Violetta Franco murders her and attempts to kill Kwan on payment from Vinsher. Kwan held her aunts dead body until Soren pulled her away to safety.[1]
