Swanbourne is a western coastal suburb of Perth, Western Australia, in the country of Australia.

It is the home of the Office of Naval Intelligence's Beta-5 Division Ordnance Testing Facility, who made the Mark VI Mjolnir Powered Assault Armor/S variant for the Spartan-IIs.

In the 20th and 21st century, it was the home of the Special Air Service Regiment, who were known as one of the best special forces units in the world.
