The T'vaoan Major, known also as the Skirmisher Major,[1] is a T'vaoan rank in the Covenant military. Major is the second rank a Skirmisher can attain. Skirmisher Majors are distinguished by their red armor and red-patterned feathers.
T'vaoan Majors are classed as specialists. They are often seen leading Skirmisher Minors, as well as Grunts and Jackals.

- Skirmishers at any rank can only be seen in Halo: Reach.
- Skirmisher Majors and Minors are the first enemies encountered in Halo: Reach, excluding the cloaked Special Operations Elite which holds the first data pad on Legendary.
