Easter egg?[]

The Explanation[]
This is most likely caused because Rtas's body model was the only one of an Ultra Elite, which is why the corpse is identical to him.
Yeah...no. I've seen silver-armored Elites on the ship with all of their mandibles intact. I didn't bother saving a shot because I hadn't encountered this article before, but I should still have the film, so I'll be able to prove I'm right when I run back through it.
