Team Omega

Team Omega was SPARTAN-II team consisting of six members; four men and two women.

History

In 2531 during the First Battle of Arcadia, Spartan Team Omega was assisting in defending the planet against the Covenant, while Spartan Red Team assisted in civilian evacuation operations in Pirth City. Omega lost one Spartan during the battle.

In 2552, during the Fall of Reach, Omega was in the main battle at Utkozet, assisting Spartan-III Team Noble in the assault on the Covenant. Most of Omega was lost in the Fall of Reach, only one surviving member managing to escape aboard the UNSC Shangri-La, a Marathon-class heavy cruiser.

Trivia

• Five members of Team Omega appear at the end of the Halo Wars Announcement Trailer, armed with Battle Rifles and wearing dark gray armor bearing similarity to the MJOLNIR Mark VI, an old rendition of the Spartans in Halo Wars.
• Team Omega is only controllable in the fifth mission of Halo Wars, which is a large stretch from the original thought that the team was going to be constant.
• In Arcadia Outskirts, when you move the middle marker over one of the Spartans, it will say TEAM OMEGA instead of a name and number.
• All six members have reused voices of Jerome, Alice and Douglas.
• As clones in gameplay, they only wield weapons used by Jerome, Alice and Douglas: two males armed with Rocket Launchers, both females armed with Machine Gun Turrets and two males carrying Spartan Lasers.
