Ossoona and Arbiter are temporary positions. Should they be counted as ranks? They aren't always available and aren't permanent. -- Couchpotato99 (talk) (contribs) 09:09, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

Well i just thought it might be helpful to put them there so people can find them fast or so they understand fully how the poistions of power are and its said on both page there only temporary or something like that but i'll make sure it says on there pages that there not regular ranks.--ryanngreenday 09:33, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

Ok, sounds fine. -- Couchpotato99 (talk) (contribs) 20:10, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

Higher Ranks[edit source]

The higher ranks seem to start at the highest rank, Councillor, and then go down shouldn't it be the other way around? -- Esemono 02:41, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

Suggested overhaul[edit source]

This template looks confusing and weighted to the right. I suggest an overhaul to give each rank tree its own setion...like this:

What do you all think? -ED 20:42, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

To be honest, the template needs improvement badly. I'll change it to this, and, of course it can be reverted if anyone objects. -ED 22:35, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

Heretic Sangheili[edit source]

Heretics were a faction of their own, they were never a part of the Covenant military. AS such, "heretic Sangheili" is not a rank in the Covenant military, and does not belong on this template. -ED 06:49, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

Sangheili High Councilor[edit source]

Shouldn't the Sangheili High Councilor go in it's own section, not just regular. Something like political, or High Council? --User:Donut THX 1138 Donut 7.JPG 16:45, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

I also added the Oracle Master to the Council section - i worked hard on that! Kora 'Morhekee 04:32, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

Oracle Master is a title for civilia Sangheili, not military ones. --ED(talk)(shockfront) 05:57, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

Update[edit source]

I have added some ranks to the template. I've added new trees to ranks as well. I think the Heretic ranks should belong on this template due to the fact that they ARE ranks for the Sangheili. It doesn't matter if they were in the Covenant Military or not, the template is called Sangheili Ranks, not Covenant Military Ranks. --Tyrone Tyrone111Xbox Avatar.png The mastermind would like to speak! 01:00, January 7, 2010 (UTC)
