So guys halo wars 2 trailer is out. Spirit of Fire is back with a new cutter look, cyclops and many more. Fighting a uphill battle against a covie fraction called The Banished with commander Atriox leading it. A fraction who was a threat for the covenant during human covenant war and now having advanced tech recovered in the Ark how will this battle go in the ark?? Is Atriox is more dangerious than whole covenant imagined. Does Spirit of Fire have a chance to win or this time they will become a history forever?? How cutter and it's crew will manage this???
Hmm... You forgot about the whole Created thingy thats happening at the same time as HW2. Will SoF succeed, yes I think they will. I think that they and the Banished will come to some kind of truce to get everyone back home and help aid in stopping Cortana.
I think the SoF will end up getting assistance from the UNSC at some point (as humanity has been back to it since Halo 3 (and this will also help explain the new units they have, as 30-something year old units would do nothing to the Banished)), and undoubtedly defeat The Banished. Though like LoZza117 said, I feel like a truce is possible due to the greater Cortana threat, hopefully the return of the flood and hopefully a proper return of the Forerunners that was set up in Halo 4 but completely ignored by Halo 5. (I'm a big fan of the Forerunners and their promised return).
So the spirit of fire has become a welcomed guest in barkingham palace where it is the guest of honor and is dining fine.
Anyway I really doubt their is even a remote chance that humanity can ever face a true threat of facing defeat, or considering a enemy a actual challenge. That's like saying marvel will kill off caption America and wolverine in a car accident and have the 2 bodies land in a bed. No retconing, no bringing them back in a hallelujah their still alive after all, just having it remain canon that they died together in bed and never having new episodes on screen or paper with them ever again.
Your comparing superheros ( one who cannocally cannot die and the other who 'died' so many times its confusing) to an entire civilisation. Kinda an unfair comparison. And of course humanity's gonna survive when the majority of Halo's audience are humans.
Why should I be fair? Life never returned the favor for me now did it?
You know, on second thought, maby I should try to be above life instead of at its level once in a while. When I have time, I'll think of something nice to do for those who don't even begin to deserve it. Don't let me forget.
