Truth and Reconciliation Suite is a piece included in the Halo: Original Soundtrack.

Appearances[]

This piece is played in partial form many times throughout Halo: Combat Evolved. Most notably, the entire song plays on the Main Screen, and during the levels Halo (during the chapter "Reunion Tour," where John-117 emerges from the tunnel in the Warthog), Keyes during the player's escape from the aforementioned cruiser, and Two Betrayals when the player leaves the opens the last gate from the tunnels you start in. It's also played in Halo 2 when you stay at the main screen for a while.

Overview[]

The first part of the piece (which lasts only seventeen seconds) can be heard in the level Two Betrayals when the Master Chief first gets in a Banshee. It also contains a variation of the first section of Enough Dead Heroes. The section from 1:06 to about 1:45 can also be heard in Heretic, Hero. The section that plays from 2:00 to about 4:30 is almost exactly the same as the main Halo Theme and it is also very similar to the Halo 3 song, One Final Effort. The section from 6:12 to 6:57 is a variation of the song Shadows, and is often associated with the Flood; it is also heard in the underground area of Halo (the level) near the light bridge. Also, a portion of this song is reused for the Warthog run in the level The Maw, and the thirty seconds after the part used in the Maw play during the ending cutscene of Assault on the Control Room.

Other Appearances[]

Remixes and partial remixes make many appearances throughout Halo 3, most notably in the soundtracks One Final Effort and Halo Reborn. The first part of the suite is remade in Halo 3 as part of the song Behold a Pale Horse.

Also, from about 1:50 to about 4:50 is almost exactly the same as Greatest Journey from Halo 3.
