Vigrond Highlands

The Vigrond Highlands was an area outside the city of Utgard on Harvest. The Mimir River started in this area, and cut just south of Utgard.

History

During the attack on Harvest by the Covenant ship Rapid Conversion, refugees from the small settlements in the Vigrond Highlands fled to the capital of Harvest, Utgard.

Trivia

• In Norse mythology, Vigrond is a giant plain where Ragnarok, the battle between the gods, will be fought.
• Many of the names given to the cities, seas, and other places in Halo: Contact Harvest have been plucked from Norse Mythology.
