A Yanme'e Queen is the leader of a Yanme'e hive. Little is known about them, besides the fact that they are extremely large, with elongated abdomens, requiring the support of subservient males carrying them on cushioned litters for transport.[1] It can be assumed that Yanme'e Queens lead their hive, giving birth to new Yanme'e and soldiers for its maintenance and defense, and they presumably reside on the Yanme'e home world and, until its eventual fall in 2552, possibly also on High Charity. Due to the high numbers of Yanme'e in the Covenant it would seem that there would need to be more than one female filling the reproductive role. Only one has been seen in the series when the High Prophets of Truth, Regret, and Mercy were sworn in.
